Haryana gets Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, travel will be even easier

Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway: A new expressway is going to be inaugurated in Haryana, which will make travel from Delhi to Amritsar and Katra very convenient. The Ministry of Road Transport has announced that this 113 km expressway stretching from Haryana to Punjab border is fully ready and will be opened to motorists after Diwali.

This new route will make it easier to travel from various cities of Haryana, and the local people are considering it as a special Diwali gift. With the opening of this expressway, passengers will not need to travel by train, which will save time.

This part of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway is being built in several phases by the National Highway Authority of India. This 113 km section will start from Sonipat and go up to Kaithal.

People traveling on this route will now take only 6 to 7 hours to reach Vaishno Devi, whereas earlier this journey used to take 11 to 12 hours. Apart from this, the journey from Amritsar to Srinagar can now be completed in four hours, which was quite long earlier.

This new expressway will prove beneficial not only for religious pilgrims but also for common travelers. This will make the journey between Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi more smooth and fast.
